Super Simple Snacks: Overnight Protein Oats

We know how difficult it can be to maintain a good diet when you are on the go, so we have made a list of some of our favourite protein snacks. These snacks are super simple to make and taste delicious. You’ll never have an excuse for heading to work with a bag of sweets and crisps after you have tried these outstanding overnight oats.

SIMPLE VANILLA PROTEIN OVERNIGHT OATS

Servings: 1 Jar

These overnight oats might just save your mornings. Super simple to make, bursting with vanilla and cinnamon flavours to give you a head start to the day. Not only do they save you time when you’re rushing to start your day, but they treat your body to a healthy heap of protein too!

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in a jar or a small tupperware.
  2. Shake to combine well. Make sure the mixture is perfectly combined!
  3. Place in the refrigerator overnight.
  4. Eat and enjoy!

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE PROTEIN OVERNIGHT OATMEAL

Servings: 2 Jars

Who doesn’t love a fruit packed breakfast in the mornings? With this overnight strawberry shortcake you can’t go wrong! Enjoy this delicious protein and vitamin bursting fruit bomb before work to get you set for the day.

Ingredients:

  • 30g
 Premium Strawberry Whey Protein Concentrate 
  • 178ml Unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 125g Plain low-fat Greek yogurt (or mashed banana or applesauce)
  • 228g
 Sliced strawberries
  • 90g oats
  • 2 tbs 
Baking stevia (or 55g sweetener that measures like sugar)
  • 1/4 tsp 
Salt (to taste)

Directions:

  1. Place 152g sliced strawberries in a medium bowl (or Tupperware) and smash them with a fork until they are mashed (juice will also form, which is what you want).
  2. Add the rest of the sliced strawberries to the bowl along with the rest of the ingredients. Stir well to combine.
  3. Divide between 2 small bowls, mugs, or mason jars. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or for at least an hour (or more) so the oats soften and absorb the liquid).
  4. Enjoy cold, or microwave for 30-60 seconds to enjoy warm!

Double CHOCOLATE OVERNIGHT PROTEIN OATMEAL

Servings: 2 Jars

Estimated Time: 10 mins

Chocolate in the morning makes any day just a little sweeter. Even better when you can have it in a healthy way! This protein loaded oatmeal brownie batter is sure to give your mornings a satisfying chocolate kick. We love this with a steaming cup of coffee before taking on any challenges the day may throw at us.

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix all of the ingredients together. Divide between 2 small bowls, mugs, or mason jars.
  2. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or for at least an hour (or more) so the oats soften and absorb the liquid).
  3. Top with chopped nuts or topping of choice if desired!
  4. Enjoy cold, or microwave for 30-60 seconds to enjoy warm!
